Body oils: when to choose them instead of cream

Moisturizing the skin of the body: is it better to do it with a cream or with a body oil? In reality the answer is, as often happens, it depends! It depends on how much time we have: body cream is a water-based emulsion and is certainly easier for our skin to absorb. Body oils, if 100% natural, for their part, are very rich in active ingredients and nutrients for our skin, even more than a cream can be. The disadvantage in this case is that they have a longer absorption time than a cream and therefore require more time.

If we go in a hurry then we prefer a cream but if we have a little more time nothing is better than an oil, with which we can give ourselves a massage to be able to convey it to the fullest. We can choose from the classics such as almond, argan or coconut oil, venture between jojoba or hemp oil, avocado, wheat germ, to be amazed by how much our body skin will love them, or choose between butters and ointments, according to our specific needs.
