The lavender we use in our products originates in the Marche region, in the Conero area. Since 1975 it has been cultivated with passion and love by Amelia Guglielmi Zanoli, nicknamed 'the lavender lady'. The type of lavender that grows in these wonderful parts of the Marche region is lavandula hybrida or lavandin. It is said that the saltiness gives the flower a strong, fresh scent, which the Greek botanist Dioscorides described as 'superior to any other'.
